Overview

Onum supports integration with Jira. Select Jira from the list of Sink types and click Configuration to start.

Configuration

Now you need to specify how and where to send the data, and how to establish a connection with Jira.

Metadata

Enter the basic information for the new Data Sink.

• Name* - Enter a name for the new Data Sink.

• Description - Optionally, enter a description for the Data Sink.

• Tags - Add tags to easily identify your Sink. Hit the Enter key after you define each tag.

Metrics

Decide whether or not to include this Data sink info in the metrics and graphs of the Home area.

Configuration

Now add the configuration to establish the connection.

• Jira URL* - the Jira API URL.

• Jira API Token* - the Jira API Token.

• Jira Username* - the username that will be used for basic authorization.

• Jira Project Key* - your Jira project key.

• Jira Issue Type* - the Jira issue type.

Where to find these values

These values may differ depending on your current version of Jira.

• URL: this will be https://<your_atlassian_site_name>.atlassian.net/

• API Token: allow scripts to access REST APIs for Atlassian cloud products using API Tokens.

• Project Key: the prefix of the issue number, e.g. JRA-123, the project key is the "JRA" portion of the issue number.

• Issue Type: see the available issue types here.

Rate Limiter Configuration

• Number of requests per second* - set a limit on the amount of requests per second to launch on the server.

Proxy Configuration

If your organization uses proxy servers, establish the connection here.

• Proxy IP

• Proxy Port

• Proxy Scheme

• Username

• Password

Select Finish and see your Sink appear in the list of Datasinks.
